New to Lawn Bowling?
New members are welcome. We are a very friendly and helpful club. We have a coaching staff that will provide you with the training required to play. You may come out and try before becoming a member. The club has a supply of lawn bowls for beginners to use and if you become a member you can use these bowls for your first year of play. After your first year you will have to purchase your own bowls. The only other equipment required is a flat pair of shoes (no grooves).
Join us on May 11th at 1.30 pm for a "New Player Introduction" at the Club. 910 Liverpool Road, Pickering. After this introductory session, you may select 2 more dates to try it and only after these 3 sessions do you make the commitment to join. See New Player Introduction for more details.

A waiver and a completed registration card is required before you play your first game.The registration card can be printed and filled out manually, or you can obtain a registration card at the club. Please leave completed forms at the Club House or give to Chris Robinson.
Membership Rates
Our membership rates are very reasonable and you can play 7 days a week. Playing membership includes The Ontario Lawn Bowling Association (OLBA) & Bowls Canada (BCB) fees. This allows you to participate in outside tournaments.

Notes:
After Aug 1, new memberships will be prorated based on full or partial months remaining in the bowling season for Club portion of the fee ($160) plus full OLBA costs of $40 and $15 for name tag.
After Sept 1, new members will be signed up as following year members and pay only $25. Name tag fee will not be collected

PLBC has lockers available to rent. The number of lockers is limited and are available on a first come basis.
